Yo. I'm back. Longest month of my life, including that time I dyed my hair black.

Did anyone remember to water and feed Ace while I was gone? Take him for walks and make sure he got sun and all that?

[There's a pause and the fluttering of wings along with a mutter.] Damn this new book system is strange... [But he speaks back up again trying to sound more chipper.]

So what did I miss? Did the entire landscape change? Any new books about pirates at the library, eh?

[For those who know him well, Marco actually sounds pretty exhausted for a change, and lacking some of his usual ridiculousness.]

[For the first half of that, Norma just grins, then disappears from the journal's camera, searching her room for something. When she comes back, it's with a set of big, fat, colorful markers. And she'll start drawing as she talks.]

Yeah, he's told me about that. We didn't go in too far anyway, just up to our knees, promise! Besides, I wouldn't let that idiot drown, what kinda friend would I be, huh? You've got nothing to worry about.

Same here! And uuh...about six months, I think? Maybe more. I haven't exactly been keeping track.

[Laughs.]

Keep those markers handy, eh? I wouldn't want to give away the surprise, but you never know when you might want to use them on him.

I like being a pirate better too, but I'm sure there's enough overlap.

[She laughs as well, the devilish grin she wears afterward showcasing that Norma had that exact same idea in her head. Ace isn't safe the next time his narcolepsy decides to kick in. She'll save a nice, colorful red one for you, pirate bro. ♥

As for that question...oh jeez. Norma will never forget the day she first met Ace. Her nervous chuckle and how she seems to hide her face a little dictates this will one of those stories. Have your popcorn ready, Marco.]

Well, I uh...I kidnapped him. [She hold up her hand, before he can flip at her.] An experiment turned me into a dragon - or well...i dressed up like a dragon and was stealing treasure, fighting knights, and kidnapping princesses. Hothead was that princess. Ugliest one I've ever seen, let me tell you! [She laughs again.]

But pretty soon after he kidnapped me in another experiment thing, so I guess we're kinda even.

Oh, hey I remember that. [Not the kidnapping, but the event.] I spent that week as a "steed" so... yeah.

What did he kidnap you for?

[A steed? Really, Malno-nos? ...REALLY? Norma peers down at Marco's image in her journal and her ~~overactive~~ imagination fills in the rest fairly quickly. She snorts, and smothers her laughter with her hands, before it gets too loud. Oh sweet mother of the merines, that image along could bring her to tears. Alas, she was not around to witness that glorious moment...or get a ride.

Also, please give her a minute to compose herself.]

Uuuh...heck if I know! [She throws up her hands.] It was forever ago, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at some point. ...Ooooh! Now I remember! That idiot burned my clothes at that time! I tried to punch his face in and he singed my clothes!

You'd be a ham.

[He surprised by the sudden food in his mouth, but smiles, and eats it.]

[Laughs at the grin on Ace's face, okay definitely hasn't been eating enough and pokes Ace's cheek.] Yeah, yeah, but I bet you'd still come see every show, eh? [Dices up some veggies and throws them in a pot for soup. You will get veggies in you damn it.]

[It's okay, Marco found it relatively amusing while it was happening.]

He tends to do that, eh.

[He swats the hand away, but nods.] Damn right!

[He cranes his neck to look into the pot. Ew, veggies. But it's still food, so he won't complain ~~for now.~~]

You'd better bring me flowers.

[Adds some chicken to the soup, you carnivore.]

Sometimes I really wonder where the farms for all this food are.

The biggest bouquet I can find.

[CHICKEN. *-* YUM. He shrugs.]

I dunno. Maybe outside the barrier?

Eh, gotta figure, but one of the guys when I first got here said there was nothing out there, just stars and darkness. He might have been lying though since there's the missions. Or the Malnosso tricked them.

[He laughs and makes a heart with his flames, too.]

I'd be most likely to believe the latter, considering it's them.
