[His reaction is not something she had anticipated and it doesn't particularly fill her with confidence about the nature of this woman.]

[Slight frown.] We don't get along great. Moria wanted to steal Little Oars Jr. for his zombie collection and I take that a little personally.

Not that I've held it against Perona, but I'm hardly as kind about the death of her captain as I should be.

[Rubs the back of his neck.] And my attempts to tick off Mihawk rankle her.

What do you wish to know?

[So it is more of a personal thing. Not that it makes anything eaiser to know this]

I enjoy tweaking his nose, too.

[There is just something about poking the stern shichibukai that she can't resist. She snuggles her hand in Marco's pocket again]

Anything and everything. I need to find a way to spy on her as well, though that might be easier said than done.

[Because if she can discover Perona's intentions, she'll rest much easier]

Heh... [He grins and leans in towards Robin a little more.] Tweak away, eh.

She's easily flustered with a few buttons. [Holds up a couple of fingers.] Getting hit on by old men, Moria and her former crew, and now Mihawk. She likes cute things, including Sabo, and she likes ghosts and undead and your typical Halloween things.

As far as pirates go, she's not too bad. More annoying than anything else really. She has her moments. She used to be a lot more childish, but she's matured a great deal under Mihawk's eye. That, or she's just far more easily cowed. [He thinks about it and shakes his head.] No, she's definitely matured.

[If Marco had understood the swears, he'd probably just save them up in his memory for special occasions.]

Oi oi...

[Growls irritably and cuts the line with his foot so he can shove the kappa back in the water.] Cool don already dumb turtle. You've got a hotter head than my nakama. It's not nice to startle a lady you know.

[:| He says after reeling it out of the water to take some from its head... okay then.]

[The kappa only settles down once some of its very precious water is removed from its head, looking groggy and almost sickly as it slumps and hangs its limbs. Miyabi waves her hands quickly, just to be sure Marco's not taking too much of the water. She doesn't want to hurt or kill the poor thing, even if it is a monster.]

A-Ah...please, don't take too much. That water is it's life, remember? Just a little bit, th-then let it go...

Aye, I'll be careful.

[He hands the water back to Miyabi and dunks the kappa back into the water.]

[Robin nods, though the information is useful, it is not quite useful enough. Maturing is good, but how has she matured and in what ways? How will she act in a relationship? What does she really want? Does she even have an agenda?]

Do you know of any friends she has here? [Sabo would be a good person to ask, but she hasn't seen him in a long time. Otherwise, perhaps she can get secondhand information from them and see just what kind of person Perona is]

Sabo, Mihawk, and I'm not sure. I don't really read the journals much except to find people.

What are you looking for, love? [If Robin asks the questions in her head, he could probably answer at least some of them decently.]

[Well Mihawk will certainly not help. She sighs a little and glances over at him, regarding the question]

I can't answer that. It's nothing for you to worry about but it's... a confidential matter.

[Anyway she can't figure out how to phrase the question without things becoming too leading]

I suppose there's really no help for it unless something does happen.

[Though she'd really rather be preventative]

[Uncertainly gives her a look. He certainly won't pry, but the least he can do is offer his best.]

Just let me know if you notice anything unusual. [She's glad he doesn't pry. It's one of the things she--she likes about him.]

[Grins~] So I have. And I believe I promised to teach you how to ski, though night is a bad time for it. Is there anything you're interested in? I seem to want nothing more than to try various tea blends, convince you to talk to me about books, and romance you so well that no other guy could ever be worth the bother.

Hmm. Surprise me... [she truly doesn't care what they do so long as it's with him. It's still strange to feel that way sometimes.]

And it isn't as if you have competition, Marcchan. [Although...] At least not here. Not unless a certain Shichibukai makes a bold move.

[But she's teasing you.]

[Folds his arms.] There is no way that man is a better dancer than me.

[Kisses sweetly.] Besides he's a jerk, and I love you.

Hmmm. I suppose you'll have to do, then. [She kisses him back and looks away. When she does speak again it'll be soft]

After all, I couldn't really be with someone I didn't... love...

Really? [SO strutting like a peacock and takes one of her hands to swing it back and forth childishly.]

Hey Robin? [Turns back at her, still grinning goofily, but with a slight impishness threatening to enter.]

[But she might be still blushing a little and not looking at him directly]

[She'll swing back with him, enjoying his strut. ~~shake those tail feathers~~]

[Steals another quick kiss and gives her a heart with his hands, which brings her hand along with it, almost ruining the effect, but he doesn't caaaare.]

Cute. [She traces the fingers of her free hand along the heart of his fingers and smiles] Set it on fire, Marcchan.

[He cheerfully obeys, covering both their fingertips with the downy blue flames.]

Any particular reason why? Not that I mind, eh?

Because it's beautiful. [She smiles as the flames curl over her fingers. Warm but not burning. Familiar, too.]

But I bet you make fire hearts at all the girls, ne? And some of the boys, too. [She's teasing mostly and perhaps fishing to hear that she is, if not the center, near the center of his world. But perhaps not]

[He flushes happily and leans forward to give her a kiss.] You are the only one I wish to give my fiery heart to, eh? [Gently nuzzles by rubbing their noses together.] Please, you're so much leagues ahead of everyone else, they're all boring in comparison.

Do you really like my devil fruit that much? [He never thought it would mean so much to him. Robin always seemed to enjoy him for the other things, and the phoenix side was more a means to fly, but she's gotten annoyed when he tried to hide out in it and somehow it's become important. Probably because her own devil fruit is so mystifying and alluring to him.]

I think you're biased.

[Nevertheless, she enjoys that. Though she blinks at him at the question]

Mm. It's who you are, isn't it? [she cocks her head to the side] Why do you ask?

Ah... [He goes back to swinging her hand back and forth.] A couple reasons I suppose. It always seems to be something that sets me apart from everyone else, but not always in a good way, eh? Like Ace's flames bring people together, and Jozu is basically a wall to protect people, but with mine... [Shrugs and grins.] I love your devil fruit on you. I can't even imagine anything sexier than that, eh? I almost envy it, but I wouldn't want to see it with anyone else.
