I wanted to think I know how to help, considering we're both-- [shakes his head] but the circumstances are too different. And I still don't completely understand what happened in the future to lead to that so-- [wow, the helplessness is punching him in the face right now] If you who'd been there seeing what he went through, and suffering too along the way, can't get to him... there's no way I can be helpful.
