[Of course Marco pulls and grabs with his phoenix claws, his legs are ridiculously strong anyway, and with that he switches into phoenix mode to really pull the kappa out of the water.]

Yes, I'm ready!

[As ready as she always is when helping with fishing. This is a battle, a game of skill and of precision! It's also helping her train her brush skills, too, so that's a big plus. With Marco's insane strength, it doesn't take much to get the kappa out of the water, even with its wild struggling and floundering below the water's surface. He's just too strong for the little water demon to evade by itself. So, with a horrific and enraged screech, the kappa flails its arms and legs wildly as it soars through the air on the line.

And that's when Miyabi strikes. A quick swish of her brush, a single, horizonal line of black ink, and the kappa's stuck down once the ink hardens like steel and strikes it dead-on on its exposed belly. Falling like a stone, it splashes into the water, gurgling in shock. It's not dead, just stunned.]

Reel it in, reel it in, reel it in! [She's like a little kid, seriously, waving her arms and hopping up and down. She hasn't played fishing in so, so long, aaah, it's just like being home in Kamui again!]

[Marco laughs and does his best to pull the kappa in more, it's almost like seaking fishing really, but it is fun, and he drags the frog-turtle creature closer and closer.]

[Thankfully, the kappa remains stunned for most of the journey to land, and only really begins to wake up once Miyabi's already dragged it to land and planted herself right on its back, sitting square on its shell and holding a flask in one hand. She intends to just quickly dip it in for a little water, then release the beast to be on its merry way making mischief, but the kappa thinks it's about to die, and struggles.

Wildly.

Kicking, flailing, scratching, biting, spitting water at both poncle and phoenix alike, and not to mention a string of very colorful swear words uttered in Japanese, Thank goodness marco can't understand, but Miyabi even has to squeak at a few of them. G-Good lord, where does it even learn those things...]

O-Oi! Hold still! Stop that, you'll be fine after just a minute! We'll let you go, calm down!

[If Marco had understood the swears, he'd probably just save them up in his memory for special occasions.]

[Growls irritably and cuts the line with his foot so he can shove the kappa back in the water.] Cool don already dumb turtle. You've got a hotter head than my nakama. It's not nice to startle a lady you know.

[The kappa only settles down once some of its very precious water is removed from its head, looking groggy and almost sickly as it slumps and hangs its limbs. Miyabi waves her hands quickly, just to be sure Marco's not taking too much of the water. She doesn't want to hurt or kill the poor thing, even if it is a monster.]

A-Ah...please, don't take too much. That water is it's life, remember? Just a little bit, th-then let it go...

[He hands the water back to Miyabi and dunks the kappa back into the water.]
