Thank you, mister Marco. [Really, it's nice having someone appreciate the things she makes, and she knows he's right, but still. It'd be awesome if she could make things like Issun or Ishaku do with seemingly little effort.]

To answer your question, yes. Art, painting mostly, is a big part of who we poncles are. From youth we're introduced to it, in all forms, and we're always encouraged to do better and to enjoy what we do. We make artwork not just because it's our duty, but because we love it.

Even the children's works are celebrated, and the first things they make are hung or displayed on the big mushroom in the center of the village on children's day, for everyone to appreciate, regardless of skill. [Because the kids are usually only just babies or toddlers at that time, but they're always happy and proud of themselves when they get to put their work on display.] It's one of the best times in the village, where everyone comes together to welcome and praise the new generation of artists in the village!
