There's a few others in the background of the once-hospital room. Kind of more like a supply closet, and it's lit up with eerie blue flames.]

Anyone want one? They might be useful for exploring lots of ruins or caves or whatever. And I'm told they're the height of fashion.

[Ace. Ace likes to explode in large drastic ways and used to not know if he should exist. Marco is so used to looking out for self-destructive tendencies he doesn't even consciously acknowledge that he's following the habit anymore.]

Yes. If Heiji refuses to believe in magic, it's all right to leave him skeptical for awhile, eh. So far he still recognizes real dangers as dangers, he just creates weird as fuck excuses for it. Drugs and whatever. Eventually if his logic continues par for course, he'll realize that magic by any other name is just as dangerous, and whatever it's called doesn't matter as long as the effects are the same. In the New World, rookies come through like that all the time.

I'm not going to hurt China, Japan practically let himself get injured out of some sort of... honor? Whatever. Ace won't jump the gun on it either. If China can fight Japan that well, he can handle wild animals or the gunslinging natives here, eh.

Anya you can handle on your own, just have fun with it. I don't even know what subways do, so not that either. But if you're worried about the doctor, then just hold up a picture of America with those bolts in his neck. The guy looks like Dr. Hogback operated on him. Does anyone else have medical expertise over there?

We're miles apart, but still on your side. Even when I have to split apart from my brothers, we find ways to keep in touch and share information. That's what having nakama is. You don't have to tackle the problems alone. Give Japan a directive. Either to keep an eye on the creepy doctor or keep China from dying, whichever you trust him with. And if a mistake happens, it's all right, perfection can't be achieved, but it'll still work out better than trying to run around and do it all yourself.
