...It could be real... [SAID WITH SUCH HESITATION and then he is eating that cherry and glancing away.]

Che. They don't even stay. The ghosts... memory... glitch whatever. I guess it's a bigger question of "what is real" then?

Does Marco recall how we had identities in that other Discedo? Ah... I am simply wondering if it is like that.

If there is a world where Japan is female... Another version of Earth... Then perhaps there is another version of this planet, as well.

Tch... then what does it matter-- [Grits his teeth momentarily. Seifer kept trying to get him to care about more than direct things, but since even just the direct was hard for him, expanding it all the way to everything ever still seemed an impossible task.]

[His blue eyes light up with inner flames and he swallows back the rage and irritation at all of it. What did it matter? Another world, fake, real, come what may, it wasn't like it being real meant they could fix it. At least so long as it was just illusions and stupid pointless shit he could keep trying to keep everyone's spirits up. What could he say if it was "real" though? "Don't be afraid, it's just another version of this world where your friends wound up like we did, except they're even more screwed than us, oh yeah, and all died even more horrifically than we well." Not so much.

Still. He cares about Japan. And what Japan thinks and has to say about it. And that gives him a stepping stone. However small.]

It would explain many things... For there to be another version of this world. [He looks extremely worried now, but tries to cover it with just focused frowning.]

It is either that someone knows our minds quite well, to the point of creating such illusions even if we did not think of those lines ourselves... Or it is real. That is what I feel.

Chips. What do you think the point is for them other than just blocking abilities? Why do you think it protects against the word fish? That glitch you mentioned. The only thing like it I've seen is the word fish.

We don't know how long it takes between us arriving here in this world and then waking up with a chip, right? And to just get sent back to exactly right time frames takes quite a bit of knowing about us. I think knowing us inside out seems a lot more likely.

Ahh... [He's seriously not sure what to think about this all. But chips... They stored data on them or something? Maybe...]

There are so many possibilities... It is a bit exhausting to think about it.

So don't. It won't get us anywhere even if we know the answer, eh. [About the real vs. alternate world and so forth.]

The chip? ...Ah, I wonder... I am quite good with technology, but I am not so advanced yet. I do not even fully understand Gakupo-san... Or the communicators, though I try my best. Sometimes when I attempt to learn with the communicators, I get shocked. I wonder if the chips have anything dangerous if I choose to look at them...

[INSTANTLY WORRIED FACE.]

Ah... I don't want you to hurt yourself. Maybe you could collaborate with Sakura-chan and Brother-in-Law? He seems bored and she'd probably be invited to be thought of?

[Because obviously the way to prevent damage is to spread around the pain Marco. :| So smart.]
