[He's amused, but there's just an embarrassed sideglance as he makes sure the door is shut (as if that matters) and then undresses yes. Also he washes himself before his bath, AS DIFFICULT AS IT IS IN THIS AMERICAN CHEAP APARTMENT BATHROOM.]

[Grins and watches him in amusement, finally shaking his head.]

You're too cute sometimes.

[Startled by this somehow sob]

Cleaning up to get into a bath... where you would be cleaning up.

...How is that cute? It is normal. Marco does not want to sit in dirty water, does he?

[WALKING OVER AND SCRUBBING you must be clean too]

A bath is for relaxation.

Of course not. [Shivers at the scrubs and oh fuck it, turns into a phoenix to make the most of those scrubs. He switches back again however, with a shy (for Marco) glance.]

Ah... I'm still rather bird-like. So baths are... [Shrugs and kisses him quickly before back into phoenix so that he doesn't have to explain that further. Except with sparkles. That should explain it, right? Sparkles explain everything.]

...Cute.

[Okay he is stepping into the bath, still holding Marco, and then sliding into a comfortable position yes.]

Marco likes bird baths. Is that it?

[Shy glance away, but nods yes and spreads out his wings to gets some water on his wings and sparkle.]

[Cute... He will just hug Marco close to his face. And sort of resemble this icon he loves baths okay.]

[And Marco just loves this. And since he can't really paddle about like a swan or float, or do much, he'll just hang out and enjoy the bath too.]

[AND THEY ENJOY A NICE ~~boring~~ LONG RELAXING BATH. Japan almost falls asleep and then realizes he should get out, so he'll move Marco out first by setting him down outside of it.]

[Shivers and shakes off the water droplets, sparkling and then puffing up his fire feathers for warmth.]

[Ah so cute... But he can ignore this for the sake of business!!! Aka letting the water out and getting out of the tub to dry off and put those clothes Marco brought him on...]

[Also gets dressed, though a little more reluctantly. After playing with them comically as a phoenix to amuse Japan first, of course.]

[A chuckle. So cute Marco... He'll lean against the doorframe waiting. Well at least he's in a better mood than before, even with all the America stuff in the back of his mind.]

[Comes and leans over Japan, stealing a hand, and gives him a kiss.] Love you.

...Ah... you too. [A sort of shy glance away.] Aside from what Marco has already told me... How has he been while I was gone?

Just ask Hong Kong. [He's way too embarrassed to say how pathetic he was. He wouldn't even go sleep in the bed :|]

[A concerned look, but then he just takes Marco's hand and slips away to pull him back into the room with the couch.]

Eh?! I'm fine. [Now.] Don't look at me like that.... I wasn't even sure if I'd see you again, never mind how long... 71 years.... [Follows along and rests in Japan's lap. Clingy? Yes.]

Marco does not have to change how it actually was. [He's smiling just slightly though now, as they sit on the couch.]

I slept on the roof.

Ahhh, you will get sick at that rate... It is good I came back so soon.
