And when did you decide that being something other than human meant they should all be destroyed? I've spent as long as I've known my Pops fighting people who think they have the right to enslave fishmen and mermaids just because they're another species. Hm... We have had shared traditions and values for quite some time, but I suppose... When the Emperor's nephew and I visited. Turkey-san and his Emperor at the time-- ah, he was the Ottoman Empire then-- greeted us. The two of them spoke, and so Turkey-san and I were able to speak as well.
