They eat grains, seeds. Usually the scientists stock the local store places with a cornmeal kind of thing for muffins or whatever. You can make a bread out of that. Or just try regular bread, though higher grain or oat content is best.

It's old enough for salad so try that too -- no dressings. Ah, that's hard around here, so try making a mash out of the canned vegetables. The babies like it the more mixed up with other types it is, variety and all. If you tried all that, they do need some protein, but you can't go big into madcow or anything like that. It has to be worms -- the kind you'd use for fishing, or well, maggots all ground up would work too.

Is he injured? What do you normally eat here anyway?
