You may not believe this, but Ace and I are almost the runts of my family. Haruta is the smallest, but most of my brothers are two feet taller than me. Some are almost as tall as my Pops.

[Weirdly that makes Marco calm down, because it's the symbiotic relationship he had with his Dad where they would both keep their spirits up for the sake of the other not worrying. So Marco just switches to a phoenix and tackles Japan in a hug, and then mumbles in phoenix chirps that someday he will make that "brother-in-law" thing true, just that he needs time to prove it first. Of course... still in phoenix, so Japan will have to sense the mood and try to fill in the rest from a few phrases.]
