[voice]

[Marco's voice starts off cheerfully enough.]

Hey everyone, I think I found the place where the cave-in for the train-thing is. The currents here are pretty weird so if we can get ... some ... strong swimmers then...

[He starts trailing off, obviously seeing something.] Pops...? [His voice is quiet, barely audible. It's not possible, he knows it's not, he watched the man die. So it's just like Luffy's food and an illusion. Has to be. But then it gets stronger.] POPS!! [He starts running, sandals hitting the wood of the deck.] Pops... [This time he just sounds anguished. And then suddenly there's a splash. Uh where did Marco go?]

I knoww that kind of thing doesn't wwork. I knoww. Howw do I knoww? I wwas exactly that kind of a person before i evven became the Prince of Hope, Marco.

I, I was part of the nautical aristocracy that got together and planned things Marco. Wwe crafted wweapons, wwe- wwell I had a dooms day devvice bein commissioned for me. You knoww wwhat wwe wwere doin?

Wwe wwere plottin genocide against the land dwwellers. But I jumped ship wwhen it wwas clear Fef wwasn't online wwith the wwhole idea. And people still hate me evven though it's clear I'm not into the wwhole genocide stock anymore. I mean, I had to keep face in front of the aristocracy or I'd be targeted and labeled as a traitor. Okay? I'm not a good example of howw protection is done.
