Well, the first scenario would be that my family might live and be reunited with another me from twelve years ago whose family never died.. like a parallel world of sorts. But 'this' me would die, the eighteen year old me whose family never returned.

So no matter which way, 'I' won't get to see my family again. Maybe another me, but..
