Ace, Luffy, I'm going to the Doc's. Though while I remember, how hard would it be to sail or fly out to Spero? Seifer that goes for you too. If you know.

Oh, and do we need any food or something? I hate this time of year. I always get so peckish. [Bird jokes. In deadpan. Yes.]

I am not sure about flying, but sailing is surely possible. I wonder if it is warm enough yet...

Ah, but there may be plans in the future for me. ... If not, however, I may be interested in going, as well. If that is all right, of course.

Yeah! Definitely come along. I'd be borrowing Ace and his skiff anyway unless we're flying. I'm not sure how far it is though.

[Deadpan face while he contemplates this. Yeah no. 8 hours is the best he can manage, maybe more like 6 carrying someone but he'd be exhausted by the end and need to sleep. Phoenixes are not albatross. He can fly faster than a ship can sail (of course) but a big distance is still big.]

It's only fair. Seakings are big enough to eat galleons, and Oars Jr. is so big he looks like a small mountain. Even the hundred foot-tall giants are only about a fourth of his size.

Oars Jr. is... was one of Pops' closes allies. Ace made him a hat, it took him forever because he wove it out of straw and you know how Ace is fire. Hah... Oars really treasured that ridiculous thing. Especially given his size, eh.

But we lost a lot of great men at a certain battle. [There's a brief touch of wetness around Marco's eyes.] And sometimes I can't tell what will set Freckles off or not. He was up on the execution platform so he had to watch all of it.

I don't think stories are selfish. Pops loved telling stories about the old days, so it was probably comforting to Ace, eh.
