I get the impression that Sol -- aside from being kind of a pain [(completely biased on Eri's side? No, never. Marco's totally objective)] -- is a rival for Feferi. Except where rival implies Eridan even has a chance that might not really be there.

I'm not sure what help I could give him there though.

They both mean well, but they are both children. I am not sure how to explain that there is still hope even in such a situation, so perhaps Marco-san can.

It's a little awkward to bring up though. [And he pauses with a small sigh. THINGS LIKE THIS are actually his job. The other side of piracy under gold teeth and parrots.] Usually, I'd prefer to make the two settle it amongst themselves, it shows their own capacity as individuals and creates a bond once it is worked through.

I believe their fighting drags others in on a secondhand sort of basis. Ah, perhaps I am wrong, but I worry if this continues, far worse will come from it.
