So after he got that message from Marco to say where he'd be, he got instant guilt and went to find him. Geez, really, Marco was overthinking this. Even... if Turkey said some nice things, they were friends. This was silly.]

[Marco's still on the roof for now, because he has a feeling talking to Greece will not calm him down.]

[Lays back on the rooftop looking up at the clouds and setting sun. Once again he wishes he had a brother around to talk about these things. He didn't want Japan to feel like Marco couldn't rely on him, but then who was he to go to at times like this? And without any of his brothers, Marco had absolutely no reason to hold back. Well, he had Japan, which did count, but it was still difficult since Japan didn't know how to reign Marco in like that. Then again, neither did his brothers. Still, his rambling thoughts point was that he missed having a moirail around expressly for being the person who wasn't his matesprit. Troll terms rule, okay?]

Besides, for all his insistence that he only wanted Marco like that, he couldn't remember him when he was home. It was a problem.]

If he's honest with himself, he has to agree, he doesn't completely have rational reasons for it. He doesn't even want rational reasons. Everything about that guys rubs him the wrong way.]

He told Eridan you liked him. Don't get me wrong, I know he means as a friend. It's just a feeling. Maybe it's not fair, but that doesn't make it go away.

His home is quite far from mine. Ah, and the times I visit Turkey-san or Greece-san, they end up finding me with the other and arguing... I am not sure how this happens.

Maybe because Turkey is an as-- someone who easily irritates everyone around him by somehow managing to be more obnoxious than America?

[So long as Japan kept doing things like that, it always reassured Marco that the man saw through him enough, and cared enough to come soothe his troubles. With that, he knew he could get through anything, lack of nakama or not.]

I would not wish to leave Marco alone, after all. Ah... but I had wanted to invite Turkey-san for tea. Will this be an issue? [He can just ask Marco to leave...]

I do not understand. Does Marco not wish for me to have friends? I cannot enjoy company if it is upsetting to Marco...

And he would not, under any conditions, begrudge him of them. He shivers and sheds some sparks on Japan's lap before switching back to a human next to him, now that he's had a chance to work out his thoughts.]

I'm not... You can have all the friends you wish, truly Japan. [Except Blackbeard, or Kaidou. But he's certain he doesn't need to say that anymore than Marco would be in danger of befriending Russia, which is to say: Never gonna happen.]

There aren't many things I get "morally righteous" about, but hatred of an entire species... Whatever his reasons, I cannot accept it. Nor slavery, nor someone insisting anyone should be held accountable for the actions of any person who wasn't themselves. Those three things I cannot forgive. [Also insulting or hurting his nakama, but again, he assumes that goes without saying and that Japan already knows it beyond needing to be ever explicitly stated as such.] Do you think he's just not serious about vampires? Flonne and the others here haven't done anything to him!

...I believe Turkey-san has reasons for disliking vampires. Ah, that is, he seems to have some sort of history... [Just closing his eyes and sighing at that.]

Naturally I do not condone his behavior about this sort of thing, so I will try my best. But surely violence does not solve violence. ...And I do not ask that Marco become his friend, but at least to accept that I will be.
