[Ace left a few hours before to go to one of the biggest appointments of his life. He didn't want to let Marco come, just in case Law wouldn't be able to tattoo him again. He wore his red hoodie to it, for the same reason as always. Covering up the scar. It made him ecstatic to think he would never have to do that again. But when he returned, Ace was still wearing his hoodie. He spoke a quick "I'm home" while facing the door to take off his shoes.

When Marco came out, then he'd take off the hoodie and show him the tattoo.]

Welcome back matey. Want something to eat?

[Force of habit. He knows Ace can cook, he knows Ace can fend for himself, but neither of those are why Marco likes to cook for him. That said, he's a bit fidgety, trying not to ask but it's clear how much he's dying to...]

How'd it go?

Yeah, I'll be fine with anything. [Well, he hopes you're looking, Marco. Because he's taking off that hoodie to show his tattoo. Almost identical to how it was before Akainu's attack. Ace doesn't even bother answering his question since he's pretty sure this speaks for itself.]

[Grins.] Looking good Firefist. [And he means it. Also have a cupcake. He'll just be... putting that in your mouth there.] Too sweet? I want to bribe Norma.

[Ace is honestly a bit surprised Marco isn't... well, a little more excited. Not to be self-absorbed or anything, but he thought Marco would be happier for him... and then there's a cupcake in his mouth. He eats it quickly and grins.] It's fine.

[He looks over his shoulder.] ... perfect. [And trying not to cry a little from happiness here.]

[alkdsjaskldj He's trying so hard not to be over the top, but ahhh, Marco can't take it anymore. He just glomps Ace in a tackle of a hug.]

It looks really REALLY good. Does it hurt? The logia isn't affected by it, is it? [Given the nature of the burn in the first place. Fussy mother hen get.]

[He just takes that hug head on and wraps his arms around him. Who cares if he wound up on the floor.]

It hurts a little bit, yeah. But it'll go away, it might be sensitive for a while, though. [He lets his back go up in flames quickly, and when he's back to human, the tattoo is still there.]

Good. Not that I'd let anyone forget you're our baby brother anyway, eh?

[Pokes Ace's cheek and grins because happy Ace is a good Ace.]

[You know, he'd swat your hand away and make a comment about him being the baby brother, but he just doesn't care at this point. He just can't stop grinning.]

[Snuggles cute happy Ace... daw.]

[You know what, he'll just snuggle right back.]

Damn straight. [Snuggle snuggle snuggle fuck manliness.] It's back. It's back, Marco, and I never thought it would be.

[Awww Ace... Marco's bordering heartbroken in joy and a sort of bittersweet, "If only..." but still, this is a really good start. No, a great start. Ace is alive and well in Luceti and Marco would trade his left wing for that.]

You never thought you'd be back either kiddo. [NOT LETTING GO EVER.] I think there's a lot of things purely you that you can still have here, eh?

[Don't bother thinking that. Ace is going to cling to you right now.]

I'm so damn glad to be back. And all those things I can have... I'm going to take them. Starting with you, so you can't ever leave.

[Grins and leans his head against Ace's.] I won't then. You better make sure you stick around too. [Sticks his tongue out teasingly despite how serious it is.]

And we can get more people to join.

I will and I'll fight for it. [He leans back against him.]

Aye, I've got a plan. Besides, if one of the others from home does show up, we have to show we're making life work here, and still moving forward.

[So that Pops will be proud as always. That and Marco has triple reasons to get Law to join in Luceti.]

Oh yeah? What kinda plan? [He's silent for a moment.] Yeah... I'd like to show them that.

[Ruffles Ace's hair.] Don't worry kid, you're already mostly there.

A game? [He grins again.] Oi, what's that "mostly"?

Davy Back. [Holds a finger over his lips.] But don't tell the others yet. Not even Luffy, if just because I want to surprise him. [For fun, since he thinks Luffy will enjoy it more if it's a surprise.]

[And there's a laugh.] Okay okay, all there, but make sure you show it. [More affection spread all over Ace.]

[His eyes goes wide, but in an excited sense.]

Really? Sounds like fun! As long as we don't play for keeps.

[Smother all you want. He just hugs and snuggles back because this is easily one of the best days ever.] You say that like I haven't been.

It'd pretty hard to do that in this place anyway. [And Marco's not about to gamble Ace away. He's his Ace trump card after all.]

[And daw Ace... forever cute. Marco gives a small laugh, shakes his head, and snuggles his brother even more.]

Maybe some days. [Clearly teasing though.]

Yeah, I guess so, huh? Maybe just make it for like a week or something.

[Yes, snuggles are a good thing. And he doesn't even care if this is gay or he's losing manliness. Because he has his tattoo, his brothers, and life is just good.]

Ooooi, only some? Fine, then, I'll show it now. [He grins up at him.] I've never been this happy before in my life, and you've helped so much with it.

Aye, a week sounds good to me.

[Laughs and messes Ace's hair up even more.] Seriously? I'm glad. [And just for that, Marco switches his tail out and swishes it back and forth, a clear sign he's just as happy as Ace.]

Heheh, this ought to be good.

Yeah, seriously. [He laughs along with Marco, especially when his tail shows up.] And back to the turkey.
