[After a certain post about a phoenix and his love of flowers, said phoenix is now getting his revenge. Because that is what Whitebeard pirates (arguably) do best.]

[Law, Marco, and Ace all appear to be a bit drunk, but to the well-trained eye, it's pretty clear that one of them is a lot more tipsy than the other two. And given who the other two are; they might be outright faking it.]


Aww don't worry Ace, you look great. Good enough to be one of Law's nurse's, eh?

[At which the evil pirate filming all this shows off Ace in the nurse uniform their father favored.]

[And Law chimes in!] I do think the leopard print is very flattering.

See? So relax, it's just us. [Wow, what a liar.]

[This kicks off quite the series of costumes. Some of which are meant to look good, others are more obviously meant as revenge.. At one point, the sneakiest of the trio gets in a picture of both Law and Ace and then a presumably tipsy Law wearing cat ears. Well, I'm only a little drunk. Phoenix healing and all that.

[She just smiles. She is a keeper of secrets until the right time. Who knows what she will tell him or if she will. There is a war after all.]

So you've never been stone cold drunk? No strange back alleys for you?

Well, I wouldn't say that.

[He was generally sort of the designated driver in charge of keeping everyone from drawing marine attention or riling up too many other pirate crews, but he's been at this piracy thing for quite a long time.]

Thatch always had a knack for finding ways to get me in trouble. I'm still not sure what happened the night before I woke up on top of a chicken coop with a clown suit on. It doesn't help that it was a spring island.

[She laughs] I would rather it without the clown suit. [And while you process that, she continues] Though that is quite acceptable. I will just have to find your tolerance.

That might be quite the challenge. My Pops was probably the biggest alcoholic ever. Even Shanks had a tough time keeping up. And that man would drink a third his body weight in one go. So I've had a lot of opportunity to get good at drinking.

[Oh but he's totally challenging you Robin. Care to come get him as drunk as you can?]

Oh, I guess that means I better not disappoint by getting sleepy or boring, eh. [Perfectly deadpan, as if that's even a possibility.]

Eh? How ominous sounding. [Small grin of amusement.] Now I have double the reason to stay awake. As if I needed it.

Mm. But of course if I really wanted to get up to something, it wouldn't matter if you were either.

[Laughs.] Careful or my curiosity might just get the better of me, rather than serve as caution.

Curiosity did kill the cat. [And she smiles in a slow way] But I imagine he died quite satisfied.

I believe the satisfaction brought him back. That's why cats have nine lives, right?

So goes the saying. I suppose the real question now is, how many lives do you have left?
