[For anyone getting a good look in the journal, Marco's hair has been badly dyed red, oh yeah and he looks every bit as ticked off as he sounds. Later on however, he'll be sporting a fedora to cover up that Akagami-wannabe look, and looking for hair dye remover. Or bleach. Or as a last resort, black hair dye. Anything's better than red with him. He will also be putting up posters: "Ever want to be a pirate? Join the Whitebeards! Limited time offer" though more on that later. And even more than that, a certain usually very blue bird will have a slightly red and purple tinge to his feathers for a little while. So not pleased. Still, he'll be around to help out any New Feathers or someone needing directions to town. And if anything, he arguably looks more like a traditional phoenix. Not that he wants that.]

[Later on that night when he stops trying to beat Ace to a pulp there will be a second very short post.]

Does anyone have hair dye remover, bleach, or something in black? I couldn't find any in the shop. Thanks, eh.

Mm-hm~ [Plays a finger along Ace's cheekbones and leans into whisper.] But I didn't promise it'd be something you'd enjoy.

[Yeah, something like that. He's an idiot. Anyway, he hums softly in Marco's ear.]

Oh, is this it? I'm let down, Marco.

[Grabs Ace's hands by the wrist and presses him back up against the shower wall. He gives him a long dirty look as though imagining Ace spread out in several positions, smirking to himself all the while... and then goes to the water.]

Nope, changed my mind. Too young after all. [Whistles to himself, quickly rinsing out everything he can before, before Ace decides to tackle or punch him for that.]

[He stays there frozen and blushing for a good long while, and when he finally snaps out of it, he gives Marco a good kick. He's about to walk out when he decides... well, revenge is a Whitebeard pirate thing.

So that is why he ignores that little voice in his head telling him to stop, and instead comes up behind Marco. He knows his ears are his weakness, so for one ear, he places his mouth over it to gently, yet sensually nibble it. The other he rubs between his thumb and forefinger, all the while lowly humming in his ear. Yeah, he's evil.]

Sounds like an interesting plan. In fact, that might just be the kind of prank I can in a way admire just because it's so well thought out.

.. Even if it's completely ridiculous, that is.

It would take too many volunteers and like I said, he'd probably just burn them all. So while it'd be hilarious on someone like......

[Pauses as he tries to think of a brother who wouldn't wreak havoc with it. Yeah he has none. Rakuyo would feed them to his chain chomp, Blamenco would go "hammer smash!" Izou and Curiel would shoot them, Vista's reaction would be hilarious except that it's still running the risk of him cutting them to pieces...]

Maybe most of the Luceti, it's harder to find something a guy who can turn into fire won't just burn, eh?

[Marco grunts and leans against the wall a bit, trying to deadpan ignore all this. God help him. He needs to get Ace a girlfriend. There's an idle musing whether or not he could explain about Ace's hot mouth as a good side without explaining a couple of games of gay chicken taken to extreme levels.

He doubts it.

He grabs Ace by the beads, trying to buy some time to figure out his next move. If he just feigns disinterest Ace will only try harder. Maybe he should just let the kid win for once. Of course his pride prickles at that, but anything for a brother. His knees are getting weaker than he's willing to show, a shiver threatening to overtake him and he slides his hand on Ace's cheek again.]

That can't taste too good. Between the soap and dye... [And that was when Marco's knees gave out with a mild swear. So much for playing it cool.]

.. Ah, yeah. It sounds like if you'd make anything remotely scary pop up around that guy, he'd just burn it to pieces. Better never take him to a haunted house at this rate.

You know... I think I did once. [Remembering face.] Come to think, that was how we got banned from the entire island and Thatch had to smooth things over with stealing some of Pops' booze.

Honestly I'm not sure if she's just trying to make us both uneasy or if she's actually plotting something. Which of course... is an uneasy concern. She's diabolical. [Spoken with a bit too much admiration.]

But we avoid getting anyone stuck in the middle who doesn't want to be. Hmm... I wonder if I could turn Sabo to my side...

Don't say you wouldn't get anyone else stuck in it and then wonder out loud if you can convince someone to join in.. [ a tiny sigh, but she doesn't seem to care too much either way. ]
