fierybluebird | [Action / Accidental Video] In which baby phoenixes flail a lot

[Early Monday morning Marco is finally returned from his kidnapping. A lot tinier.]

[He wakes up by kicking his book open and there's a teeny tiny baby bluebird phoenix cocking an eye at the pages. Hello Luceti. Finally he decides it's just a blank journal so he hops back and goes to take in his surroundings, and checks the area around the fountain very carefully. Wet. Do not want. Well, he's bored now. Time to fly home.]

[That would work a lot better without this creepy added weight. What the hell! NO! HE CAN'T FLY?! So after several jumps, the hand-sized phoenix jumps about and tries to get air. Which much to his dismay, does nothing. With the added new weight of the fake Luceti wings, he can't fly! Eventually he just gives up and starts flailing.]

Pops! Pops! Pops! [There are a few more baby birdie chirps of this.] Uwah brothers! ANYONE! Where are you guys?!

[Walks around and looks distraught.] I must'a hurt my wings. But that makes no sense... because I'm a phoenix. [Sits back down and sulks for now. Oh, look a stranger! He starts to rush to hide behind the fountain, but well, he's not getting anywhere on his own... so he'll have to try something!]

Excuse me! Have you seen anyone really really tall around? Wait. No. What island is this? I don't remember docking? AH! Have you see Edward Newgate; my Pops around? It's really important, yoi! [At which point... he remembers he's a bird. And realizes nothing he said probably came out in human (it all did because lulz Luceti) so just have a deapan baby birdie stare.]

[Curls up into a phoenix baby on the ground. He meant to be comforting, but right now he seriously can't.]

[She'd gather him up and hold him close to her if she could, but she's very far away. So she just keeps the video feed open, in case there's anything else he wants to say or ask.]

[Oh okay. Affectionate brother. Marco's half tempted to kick him and point out that he's the oldest, not a freaking kid no matter he looks! /flail flail -- but actually it's really nice. And after hearing so many things and being all alone and cut off from his daddy he could REALLY use some hugs. So he just chills out in that hug.]

Pops will fine a way. Pops can break anything. The wing idiots don't know who they're messing with. They might think they're safe in the sky or whatever, but he'll find a way. He can do anything. [Flails legs a little and tries to get comfy.]

[Grune has been ambling about aimlessly, doing nothing in particular, when she notices a fair bit of flailing around the fountain. When she comes to investigate, it takes for a moment, but then she notices the adorable baby birdie. Awwww.]

It's very nice to meet you, Marco. [When you're small and cute and huggable.] I'm pretty sure it's human you're speaking, though the animals around here are funny...they talk like humans sometimes, too. In fact, this entire place gets pretty funny a lot of the time.

[Gently, she holds out a hand, with the intent to give him a little pet. Marco's always been cute in his phoenix form, but as a baby bird, he's just plain precious.]

An apartment is like a really small house. But you can fit a lot of them in a big building.
