[Marco's a little wearier than normal, his voice is composed and deadpan, but his overall amusement is clearly worn a little thin today.]

Thanks to everyone who joined in the dodgeball tournament, eh? It was a lot of fun, and if you missed out, keep an eye on the next S.O.S. Brigade event, I'm sure it'll be a blast. [ooc: It's still going on! Feel free to join in!]

My littlest brother's been taken by the Malnosso, so if anyone's still looking for New Feathers, keep an eye out for Sabo too please. Hopefully he'll be returned soon.

It got me thinking though, about a poem I found by John Donne.

The smartest woman I've ever known said once that we're all connected here. Friends, allies, or enemies, we do all have in common that we're trapped in this enclosure together, for better or worse. It's something to think about I guess.

It's nice having a lot of books from other worlds to read, eh. Does anyone else have a favorite poem they'd like to share?

I have a favor to ask of all the cooks in the village. Or rather, of any of the cooks in the village, or anyone interested. Ace isn't alone in having a rough time here lately, so I'd like to do something to help cheer him and the others up. Sometime before Christmas if we could all throw a feast and come together, I think it'd be good for everyone, eh? We could have cooking contests for amateurs or try new recipes or anything. Only scary kinds....My nurse maids and parents always told me those to make sure that I will stay in my nest. Like if I wonder off, they will steal me and sell me off as a slave since all pirates care about are material gains.

Ah, really? Why not?

[Hesitates and nods.] Some pirates, the worst of the scum are like that. But my Father isn't. We fought for years against slavery and to protect our islands from those kinds of weakling pirates. I'm a pirate, but I hate slavers.

[Okay, she is just gonna blush quite a bit and frowns.] Because he is crass and deplorable. What type of creature would ask those types of questions?!

[She blinks and goes to look at him the same way earlier, trying to find any sort of falsehood in his words.]

....Perhaps, if there were Beorcs like your father in my world and near our forest. Things probably would have been different and I know that he would have many types of Laguz following him.

But it does make my heart glad to hear that not all pirates are like those of the stories.

I wish he had been Princess. But just because Pops and I are different, doesn't mean all pirates are like that. We have many foes, understood?

[She blinks as she was given more head pats. What is with this man and head pats, closing one eye at them.]

I believe that I do... [Okay, with all of these head pats, she probably look more like a nestling then a full grown adult by now....

What did he come over for anyway, she is kinda forgetting.... Give her a moment for to remember his original purpose of the visit. Though her face at the moment is probably not helping the nestling image at all.]

Yes. [Okay, it is bad for at least her cause no one should ever ask the panties question! Especially one that is undead!

And that blush is not gonna go away for a very long time at that memory. No amount of headpats will make it go away anytime soon.]

A bard? [She is confused a little but she goes to let out a small sigh and nods her head.]

You don't need to bow your head for such a thing. [She goes to stand up again and straightens her back. Come on now, follow her lead, Marco.]

It means he sings and writes songs as well, eh.

[He nods and follows her lead.]

I see. [Still forever do not want when it comes to Brooke.

She smiles as he follows her lead and she flares her wings behind her as she goes to sing the first note. Lets get that note done right first before moving on.

A part of her was unsure about letting someone else sing this song but.... If he uses it like Rafiel, then she can be at peace with it. Especially if he uses it on his own family.

[Practices with her! YAY SINGING. He might not be magic, and he sure as heck isn't good with the helping people, but protecting his family? You'd be hard-pressed to find someone more devoted than Marco at that.]

[YEAH YOU BETTER BE SINGING! Leanne was quite true to her word with her strictness in teaching him, giving him feathery bops with her wings with each mistake. But as he gets better at the aria, she couldn't help but to perk up and start relaxing. No... No there is no one else that can even match Marco in that respect.]

[He blinks in surprise at the first bop, but after a couple of them he just chuckles and changes his pitch to match hers better.]

[Aw yes. He will also use these voice lessons to seduce the hell out of his hot girlfriend. What? It'll be with different songs! Ones from Brook. Totally acceptable.]

[She smiles even more at his chuckles and his commitment to learning this. Marco will probably be hearing this aria in his sleep by the amount of bops and redos she had him go through.

Aw yeah! Leanne would be the best voice coach! As long as he doesn't use any Heron songs to help with seduce then he is free to use these lessons however he wishes.]

[I don't think he'd even know how to use a Heron song to seduce. They're too calming.]

[Good. They are not met for seduction anywhoitz! Just a few times of singing the aria until finally at last, while it wasn't perfect it was good enough in her mind.]

That's good enough, Marco. You did a wonderful job.

[It was the truth too. She goes to close her eyes briefly and stretches as a wave of tiredness does hit her. But she does reopen her eyes in order to reach up and try to pet his hair, smiling.]
