4th Wall Break Time!

[Wow, this is a lot of people. Marco gives up fighting his way through the crowd and just switches to hovering. Don't mind the half phoenix, half man above you, okay? He's relatively tame...ish. After flitting about for a little though, he gets tired of trying to spot everyone through the crowd.]

[He gives a sharp piercing whistle and yells out loudly:]

MARCO!

[One might wonder why he's calling his own name, but he's trying to see who will call back Polo. For science! Or you know, so he knows who will be interesting to go fly down to.]

[And later on, he'll be playing hopscotch, and that night he'll be hanging out on the roof of CH3 drinking and saying a toast to his father's memorial. Anyone care to join him?]

[That's good. She's happy that he's found more of his nakama here. As for herself, she shakes her head]

I wasn't looking for anyone. [Nor has she found anyone. Well almost.] But I've found someone I wouldn't mind having.

[Picks her up by her waist without warning and spins her around happily.] Would you like to meet them or are you preferring something a little more quiet for now?

[She blushes a little at the spin. He's overenthusiastic but she's starting to get used to it. Anyway she'll give him this even if it makes her a bit uncomfortable]

I...would like to. Yes.

Really?

[Oh. His. Gosh. You have no idea how happy that makes him. Like as giddy as he was before, it's even worse now. At least it's so over the top giddy that he's gone past the outward display and into a more subdued walking on air. He sets her down and kisses her forehead, blushing a little and takes her hand.]

[While she appreciates his happiness, the thought of meeting his crew outside of Ace makes her a little off balance, so for the moment she will take his arm again, using him for support. She shakes her head at the thanks]

You've met most of my nakama...and I've not had the opportunity to meet many Whitebeards. [Though the prospect was far more interesting when she wasn't going to be immediately labeled as Marco's girlfriend]

Don't worry. They'll love you and all insist I don't deserve someone as amazing as you. And then half of them will probably try to ruin my life and tell you horrible stories, and then I'll have to kill them all.

[AND YET, he sounds so excited and cheerful about it.] Just be yourself and they'll love you almost as much as I do. And vice versa, eh? They're a pain, but they're fun.

Oh, will they? Perhaps I should bring a notebook so I can remind you that I know them. Perhaps even make it a book? The Misadventures of Marco. [She's teasing, mostly but doesn't address his other comments because it's not something she wants to think about. Trying to impress others without much of an agenda other than...well...simply existing has never been her strong suit]

Of course not. It was blue. And gold. With little purple on the sides... [Gestures with both hands to the side of his head, then realizes how ridiculous he must look and just shrugs.] It was a phase.
