[A: Action has a ridiculously cheerful Marco wandering Luceti, actually walking, not flying. This is because he's walking his Pops' dog. A big white dog with a mustache on its face. The same crescent moon mustache that can be seen on Marco's tattoo. Well they say pets take after their owners...]

[Though I'm pretty sure that's not how it's meant.]

Fetch, Stefan!

[The dog barks and goes bounding after the white frisbee, only to stop as it hits the ground. What you expected him to catch it? Or actually fetch it? No. He gives Marco a quizzical stare instead, like what the hell is he supposed to do with it? Marco deadpans him right back.]

What, you were expecting this? [He holds up a white boomerang instead. And Stefan barks. With a small sigh Marco tosses it, fetches the fallen frisbee himself, and the dog goes racing after the boomerang. Including when it comes back to Marco, who just holds up a hand and catches it.] I don't know if you're just that lazy or he gave you bad habits, eh? [But Marco gives the dog a treat and an affectionate face rub anyway. Seems his Pops wasn't the only one giving him bad habits. In any case, feel free to spot him anywhere outside and stop and say hello or join him, both Marco and Stefan are quite friendly.]

[B. Voice: After fetching food for dinner (fish and mostly vegetarian things, sorry Robin, he's been cooking with Leanne in mind) and stopping to actually return books to the library instead of just stealing them indefinitely like the pirate he is, Marco lazily grabs a spot in the garden near the Straw Hat house.]

Hello Luceti.

I'm Captain Marco, of the Whitebeards, though there's really only me left of us here. I suppose that goes for a lot of the pirates left here, eh? In any case, if you're a lost new feather, give me a call, and I can come flying out there. And for everyone, I pose to you a question.

All worlds seem to have their own ways of preserving history, and some of burying it. In my own world, I think we go for the latter more often than not. Perhaps ironically, one of the strangest things about being a pirate is that we also uncover and preserve a lot of history. Accidentally, or because of treasure and legends. What one pirate might find to be treasure, the rest of the world might see as useless junk. My father was big on preserving history through stories. When you pass on legends, you keep them real in a way nothing solid can. So my question quite simply, is what do you or your worlds do to preserve history and stories? And what do you do if it's destroyed, eh?

[Stefan is unfazed by the fact that he might have nearly killed someone with his antics and instead barks happily and attempts to lick the ninja's face. The problem with owning a dog on a pirate ship, aside from all the obvious dilemmas, is that he gets used to having well over sixteen hundred people around to love and feed him at all times. And strangers are all new friends. And being picked up and/or caught? Well when the majority of your owners are the size of a house you expect to be in the air more often than on the ground. Especially since the deck is different.]

[Marco, on the other hand, has better people skills than his father's dog, so he gets a giant sweatdrop and gives a small bow.]

Sorry about that, yoi. [He catches the boomerang in one hand, because otherwise might hit someone and stashes it in the pirate sash.] Stefan's never gotten used to the idea that someone might not like dogs.

[ Kakashi chuckles softly, hands moving to scritch Stefan behind the ears fondly. Maybe he could tell that Kakashi is very clearly a dog person. After all, Kakashi does have a pack of eight dogs and all. So this is actually rather welcome. Very much so. It's too bad that he's wearing fingerless gloves, or he'd extend his hand for a lick. Though, Stefan seems rather intent on licking his face, he'd only end up with a mouthful of mask instead. ]

Ah, no worries. I'm perfectly fine.

[ Kakashi says with a smile, smoothing the soft fur on the crown of Stefan's head back, then straightens up. ]

He's very friendly.

iirc a little bigger than Kakashi's ninken Bull but not a lot -- OP sizes are messy though

[This goes for both Marco and Stefan however.] I'm Marco, and the dog is Stefan. Don't mind the mustache and be careful if you have anything white. [The hair is grey, but it gets a lick too.]

[ He's quite amused by Stefan, really, with how excited he is. Like a very big, overgrown puppy. With a mustache. How interesting.

Reaching into his utility pouch, where he keeps some dog treats for his ninken, he takes out a few and holds them out for Stefan. ]

Can't say I've ever met a dog with a mustache before...

XDD By One Piece standards, he is *TINY* mind you though WB could carry cows like pet cats so....

[That is exactly how he is. A giant overgrown puppy. And Stefan scarfs up those treats instantly, barks gratefully, and wags his tail even more.]

Ah, aye. They say pets take after their owners and my Pops was pretty famous for his, eh? It might explain why I have to keep this idiot away from sake too.

[Alcoholic dog? Yup. But Marco says it all with volumes of affection.]

[ Kakashi smiles down at Stefan, gives him another scritch, then gives Marco his full attention. It wouldn't be very polite of him if he spent the entire time playing with this big dog instead of having an actual conversation, after all. ]

None of mine take after me much, though. They all have their own personalities.

[Hah no. Stefan wouldn't even know how to be aggressive. Or dangerous. This is not a dog that can fight. This is a dog that thinks it belongs on laps despite being bigger than a lot of the people in Luceti. This is because to Marco's family, he's basically a chihuahua.]

Ah, if you'd like. [Rubs the back of his neck, trying to figure out how to explain that his Pops' dog is an idiot while still defending him at the same time, yeah, he's got nothing.] They wouldn't bully him, right? He's kind of dense. My father's devil fruit was earthquakes, so he wanted a dog that wouldn't be fazed by rolling ground. So Stefan still can't get over things like... grass. Or trees. We don't have them out on the ocean, eh?
