I swear if you're supposed to be some sort of self-suicide method, I'm going to find a way to kick this building down. [The camera tilts all over and then zooms in as the guy figures out it's recording or doing something.] Oh? Like a mechanical den den mushi then? Handy. All right, if there's someone helpful on this network, I could use a little information, starting with where in the New World this is. Or which ocean even. And if there's any WB allies out there, I need to get in touch with Joz or Vista so one of them can take over until this mess gets sorted out.

...y-yeah, Ace'll be happy. He's living with us right now, so if you can't figure out a place to stay, I don't think he and Luffy would mind. Even though it's kind of crowded already, with seven people, even if we do have two apartment rooms...

It's okay. I got to go home once, for a little while. Um, out of everyone here that's from our world, I've been in Discedo the longest. Ace got here a while after me, so he's been here second-longest.

Ah, I see. Should I be thanking you then for attending his wounds from -- a certain admiral?

[Chopper goes quiet for a little while.]

He didn't come back with any injuries from that. Other than a scar, it's like it never happened.

I see. That's a relief I suppose... But it means he's really-- [A ragged sigh, and Marco doesn't finish the thought.]

Thanks doctor. You mentioned he's like a big brother to all of you, so I must thank you for that too. Does he know about... what happened?

Y-Yeah. Ace has helped us out a lot. [...] He knows. A lot of us do. I-It, hasn't really changed much though. He's still here with us right now, and that's what matters the most.

[This times it's a much more relieved sigh and quiet laugh.]

Yeah I'll definitely agree with you on that one. Straw Hat's handling it okay too?

Mm... Luffy can handle it now. We don't really talk about it, but I know we don't have to. I think he's just happy enough to still have Ace around. I bet Ace is like that too.

It's a sentiment I understand. Whatever other circumstances might exist here, it's nice to get another chance. However long it lasts.
