Understood. In some ways, there's definitely something to be said for that. Humans place way too much emphasis on blood, eh. My Pops didn't spawn me, he's just my father. To me there's nothing higher of a compliment than being like him. One of the things he always said was that the sins of a father don't pass onto the son. If you can't trace lineage like that, then I guess it's no worry, eh. Whereas in my world, some humans thing they're gods thanks to their ancestors, and thus need to find someone to be their devil.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Eridan, but I hope I don't get one. For me to even be able to get a scar would mean I was no longer a phoenix, and that would be worse than anything other than losing my family.
Besides, I've got a badass tattoo. That works for me.
