[Video] In which phoenixes pirates and countries alike go exploring
Did you know there's a bird of prey called a secretary bird for how ridiculous it looks? It's actually extremely dangerous though. Its legs are so powerful that rather than divebombing enemy like a falcon or eagle or strange bird pinky -- [Wait, what was that last one? Yeah screw your normal birds, One Piece has weird things as you might know from the rapahn.] -- Instead a secretary bird uses its wings for balance and kicks snakes to death. For fun since snakes are shitty prey. I always thought that was a pretty cool fighting style.
Speaking of birds of prey, can anyone tell me more about birds in their world? Or mythological ones? Phoenixes, dragons, rocs, thunderbirds, anything like that, eh?
We're about 2 days out of Discedo now, and I've decided to completely map out the lake for Kiku's map program, eh. There are plenty of explorers in my world, technically the first pirate king started out that way even. But I'm wondering about everyone else's explorers. Is the world you come from all explored? Who first ventured to those far unknown reaches? Come on, I'm sure at least some of you have that adventurer's blood in your veins, eh?
Oh, and everyone in Spero, don't forget Ace is captain!

[Action]
[Shrugs.] I'm just told to ask you about him. Ah, though I'd like to hear why his brother doesn't like you I suppose -- if you know.
[Action]
[NOTED but hmm]
Ah... Yes. Italy-kun and Romano-kun are brothers... Italy-kun is quite kind and cheerful. While he is not very good with combat at all, and has called me in the city when he was here various times being attacked by monsters, he is cheerful and... cute in a sense. I suppose you could say he is received well by others.
Romano-kun is quite bitter and perhaps a bit tsundere. I am not quite sure about him since we have only just met truly, but it seems to me that he is very jealous of his brother. He insults Germany-san quite often, usually about being close to Italy-kun... And his insults to me generally revolve around knowing Italy-kun as well.
Does that help?
[Action]
Yeah, he reminded me a little of... ah angry kids who don't know how to make friends yet. [No no that's a thing with him, what are you talking about?] I guess he's just jealous then?
[Action]
Ah, but... I believe so. Italy-kun is quite kind to others, but I have never heard him speak of his brother at all, let alone kindly...
[Action]
Ahh... Ace never shut up about Luffy to me back when he first joined the crew. When I got here, I thought he'd have mentioned me at least once, you know? [Shrugs and tries to brush it off.] Not that he didn't have more important things, eh? But I think I can see how Romano would feel.
[Action] 1/2
Romano-kun also gets into trouble with monsters a lot. But usually my trying to save him ends in various curses and insults and him telling everyone that I fled from battle... [so making a face.] There is nothing to do about it, so I attempt to ignore all bitter feelings.
[Action]
. . . We are not brothers. [TOTALLY NOT BROTHERS no this is pure tsun watch the tsun]
[Action]
Well, Romano will have to reach the point where Romano wants a change in things.
And you... [SUDDEN HUG.] compromise a little with China. He grew up like me and you were the first real company he had that wouldn't instantly die on him. I mean look at who else you have. Yeah, he needs to learn to listen, but you're strong enough to find a way to keep trying to get through, right? [Squeezes the hand slightly.]
[Action]
...I understand. There are times we get along, after all... And the last China-san that was here... Ah, we came to an understanding. However, there are still differences that cannot be ignored.
[Action]
[Final squeeze to the hug before he gets back up.] Thanks.
[Action]
[Watching him. There's a pause, and then:] Eh? For what?
[Action]
[Action]
As I said before, we are not brothers... [That was mumbled and so tsun... But he glances to him]
Ah, but I value Marco's words. It is only natural that I would take them to heart.
[Action]
[Action]
[Uwah blush desu dokidoki or something...
And then he stumbles while walking
but totally doesn't fall over thank goodness. s-still holding hands]
[Action]
[Action]
...Ah, it seems I won't be able to host a festival after all. I will have to apologize to Cube-san... Once he returns to normal.
[Action]
[Action]
However, with the timing of this trip, and the way everyone is separated, I do not think it's possible to put anything together. ...I do not have a taiko drum, either... [taiko drum is essential okok]
[Action]
[Action]
Ah, well, first of all, it is important to know that the festival honors, respects and appreciates ancestors and their sacrifices. The spirits of the dead are remembered.
There is a Bon Dance, and fireworks, and at the end, paper lanterns are illuminated and sent down a river.
[Action]
[Action]
Ah, perhaps... But I am not sure who would be interested, anyway.
[Action]
[Action]
The dance is a bit lonely without a large amount of people.
