The wind is bad enough, but this shit sticks in feathers, okay? So if there's anyone outside who needs a warm place, stop by CH 3, room 40. I put a lantern outside the window, just tap if you want in.

And I stocked up sunflower seeds.

[It should also be noted that coming from the New World, Marco expects the ice storm to be pure hell, so his worries are perfectly legit in a place where spoilers: there can be lightning rain, half an island on fire, half of it frozen solid, and so on and so forth.]

[Well, Ace ran out to the store to get a few more supplies to last through this shitty weather, but well... fire and ICE FRICKING COLD RAIN don't mix. He keeps the bag under his coat, but the rain drips on his face, causing steam to rise off his skin. He shudders, and just slams into the apartment room, and immediately shuts the door.]

Ow ow, shit it's freezing cold rain... oi! Marco! I got hot chocolate, coffee, and a bunch of other stuff for soup. [He hangs up his coat, dripping wet from the rain, and shuddering every now and then. Yeah, he's kinda cold.]

[This is muffled by the giant jacket he is curled up under, with more thermoses of soup, tea, and matchsticks. And a lantern and a book. Of course. Finally he makes his way out of the jacket fort and peers up at Ace.]

What kind? [Opens up a spot for Ace to join him, fiery blue wing at the ready to help warm him up.]

[He turns to face Marco, and can't help but chuckle a little. He begins unpacking everything, putting it all on the counter.]

I got... miso, vegetable, beef, and tomato. Anything you want me to start making now?

[He says despite that wing looking very warm and inviting. He shivers a little, and pushes his wet hair behind his face.]

No, I have thermoses. Besides in the cans, you can just eat them up with your flames and then we can crack them open. [That's totally healthy. Let's hope they aren't actually made of tin.] Get under here. We can tell ghost stories. oooOOOooh.

Yeah... there hasn't really been much by way of big storms here before, eh?

Nothing like this. The most we've had it just snow. And hell, we could play in that. This is just shitty ice.

[Kazooie, for one, is actually enjoying this weather. But she is indeed one of the fine-feathered friends Marco is mentioning...]

CH3, room 40. I usually just land on the rooftop and walk down from there. Fly north of the battledome and it'll be the first big flat rooftop you encounter.

Just gimme a few and I'll be right over, then!

[Not much longer after that message gets sent, Kazooie takes off, Gliding over the rooftops in to CH3 - not too far from her house, so it's an easy trip.

Eventually, Marco will hear the scuffling of talons and a low, consistent clucking as Kazooie makes her way through the halls towards his room.]

Oh hey Ace, here comes my little sister. I promised her some sunflower seeds, grab the door will ya?

--your sister? Oi, you never told me. [He gets up anyway to go open the door. And he is quite surprised to see Kazooie.]

Hey, Kazooie. C'mon in.

[Action] | pfft I was about to ask if you wanted me to wait for Ace

[Kazooie trots inside, grinning up at both Ace and Marco like this is a completely normal situation.]

Hey, guys! Gonna make a party of things, huh?

[Action] So Marco -> Ace -> Kazooie?

Yup! Figure there's no sense in letting the weather get us down, eh?

[It should be noted that Marco is currently hanging out in his blue phoenix form, because fuck cold weather, that's why.]

[He is giving you a look, Mister Wussy Bird. He grabs a blanket, tossing it over Kazooie.]

It's freezing out there, better warm up. Want anything to drink?

[Kazooie barely notices the cold, either. It takes subzero water for her to really be affected! But she nods anyway, because drinks are awesome.]

[Goes to get her some and switches out of phoenix to human so that he has you know... hands to grip things.]
