Hey. This weather doesn't seem to be letting up at all. And I'm getting pretty worried about any fine-feathered friends out there. [Which thanks to filial wings, could be everybody. Though knowing Marco...]

The wind is bad enough, but this shit sticks in feathers, okay? So if there's anyone outside who needs a warm place, stop by CH 3, room 40. I put a lantern outside the window, just tap if you want in.

And I stocked up sunflower seeds.

[It should also be noted that coming from the New World, Marco expects the ice storm to be pure hell, so his worries are perfectly legit in a place where spoilers: there can be lightning rain, half an island on fire, half of it frozen solid, and so on and so forth.]

[It would take a deaf person not to hear that sneeze. He pulls out of the coat a bit more, turning his head toward the door.]

You heard that, too, right? [He slides the coat off and walks over to the door, and opens it. Well, he's a bit surprised to see Law, of course.]

Oi, Law! Get in here! [Whether you like it or not, he is dragging you into their room because it's warm and closer.]

Quick! Let's get him and see if he has anything to burn.

[Bored Whitebeard pirates are dangerous things. Hijacking innocent doctors in stairwells and all that. And don't mind Marco, he's still chilling out in phoenix form right now.]

[Totally innocent look at Marco before that blanket is draped over his shoulders.]

Soup would be lovely. [Sneeze.] It's horrible out there, any way you put it.

Not yet, but we could be. Or maybe even should be... no wait that'd be bad, eh? Or would it...? [Marco is officially banned as fire-safety man.]

Marco. We're not gonna blow anything up. That'd bring the whole damn building down. And you're too much of a wuss to get stuck in the rain.

[Ace walks over to grab a thermos of soup and heats it up real quick before handing it to Law.] Nice and hot.

Well that's a relief. But I think I will join in burning things after all. After this week I could go for a little arson.

[Note the tiny fireball forming in his palm.]

[The flames ripple higher for a moment as he looks for a target.]

[Hesitant sideglance and then holds up a finger to go get a bright red blanket. It belonged to Shanks, of course.] Burn it.

Rain is harder to get out of feathers than just flames Firework.

[He's having a tough time not asking Law for details; you can bet if it was one of his brothers, he'd be a total pest, but he figures Law deserves a little space whether he wants to say anything over drinks or not.]

Wait, I've got a couple things, too. [He runs back and gets a coat with a huge hole in it. And a pair of pants where the legs are nearly falling off.]

Yeah, but you're acting like a baby about it. [And then he looks so though considering something.]

We should set alcohol on fire. [Bad idea.]

Alcohol's for drinking unless we're doing molotov cocktails. Is there anything you want to blow up?
