[Hark! It's the roar of an angry phoenix in pirate form.]

[For anyone getting a good look in the journal, Marco's hair has been badly dyed red, oh yeah and he looks every bit as ticked off as he sounds. Later on however, he'll be sporting a fedora to cover up that Akagami-wannabe look, and looking for hair dye remover. Or bleach. Or as a last resort, black hair dye. Anything's better than red with him. He will also be putting up posters: "Ever want to be a pirate? Join the Whitebeards! Limited time offer" though more on that later. And even more than that, a certain usually very blue bird will have a slightly red and purple tinge to his feathers for a little while. So not pleased. Still, he'll be around to help out any New Feathers or someone needing directions to town. And if anything, he arguably looks more like a traditional phoenix. Not that he wants that.]

[Later on that night when he stops trying to beat Ace to a pulp there will be a second very short post.]

Does anyone have hair dye remover, bleach, or something in black? I couldn't find any in the shop. Thanks, eh.

Why Ace~ [Covers his beak with a wing to be all demure and shit. This would work better if this wasn't something he will never be able to pull of in a million years. Mainly because he barely understands what demure is, much less how to be it or even copy it.] How forward~ [It doesn't help that he's covering a beak still. At least it's obvious he's playing around.]

[He gently places his fingers under Marco's chin, pulling his head out just so and scratching under it.]

[He lets out a low hum. God, he's trying not to burst into laughter here.] Maybe I don't need a girlfriend.

[God. Ace. Well, he's getting better at it, that much Marco has to give him credit for, but he's trying not fall into peals of giggles too. And all this after having been furious with Ace all day. Ace is a terrible influence on Marco. And vice versa.]

You have to love me as I am. [Wiggles... Well, not exactly. More like wiggles his tail trying to send... some sort of message. Not even that, he's just trying to make Ace lose it and start laughing already. But he's pretending to send a message with his tail or something.]

[Marco is wiggling his tail. He's secretly Sanji, isn't he? But yes, he's biting his tongue for a bit so he doesn't burst into laughter. Instead, he just gives him a shit-eating grin.]

Oooh, is that a mating ritual? And you call me forward. [Well, maybe he should just lift himself up and lean over you, arms on both sides of Marco's head.]

[And that's when Marco decides to switch back to human. Timing is everything after all.]

Yes, are you all seduced now? [Deadpan, but even Marco is having a tough time keeping a straight face.]

[Well, that gets an eyebrow raise. And possibly a light blush because he's almost nude and on top of him wow there is no way to not make that sound bad. He smirks, but it's mostly a smile because he is seriously this close to just cracking up. And then oh-so deadpan in return:]

Take me now, Marco. [And he leans down to nibble his ear, slowly licking it.]

[God damn it, always with his ears. One day people will realize how much that affects him and he'll be royally fucked. Maybe literally. As it is, Marco's not even sure if Ace underestimates that warm mouth on those spots or he knows exactly their effect and he's just that much of a brat. One of those. Maybe both.]

[Marco flips Ace over though, looming over him like a crazy person and grins ear to ear.] Yes, and I'll leave the sandals on.

[Hopefully that will get Ace to crack up laughing. And if not, Marco really should convince Ace to take Nami on a date or something. The kid will be the death of him at this rate otherwise.]

[He can and will keep a straight face through th-- NO. NO HE CAN'T. It's impossible for Ace to just crack up now.

[Marco gets off him with a full out smirk. Fuck yeah, he wins again mutherfuckers.]

Damn kid, I was beginning to think I'd never get you to crack. [Smirks and ruffles Ace's hair before turning the water on for a shower and getting the temperature right. Laughing happy Ace is the best Ace.]
