Linda apparently can't find it. She's good at finding other stuff though, but not Rika's crystals. Which is a shame, I was going to hang them up in the windows. Might liven up all the black. [In the background there's the sound of a woman tsking him and reminding him that he gets to decorate the office, not the apartment, so he should suck up and deal because black is the in-thing.]

Yeah, right, anyway. Got in touch with the Sandwich Factory --
[At this, the transmission is interrupted for a loud THWACK! as something loud was thrown and cracked near the communicator.] NOT YOU LINDA. GOD! PUT THE HEELS DOWN! You're worse than Pops' nurses!

[And a loud woman's voice.] WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?

[And anyone who knows Marco might recognized this silence as Marco's usual deadpan thinking up the right thing to say.] Love you baby? [WELL, apparently that worked because the woman devolves into a bunch of coos and purrs.] Right, I'm just going to take that heel now... before you break things. Haha. Wait. What is that on the plate?

Spam on toast with pineapple! It's your favorite!

That's inedible.

[And that would be the sound of Marco getting slapped and the voice wandering away yelling he can get his own damn food then.]

Right. Okay. Yeah. So uh. I guess anyone who finds this not an ordinary day and has lots of missing stuff, check in. Maybe we can find it together with a giant lost and found or something. Thanks.

I--I don't know! At some sort of restaurant? Some girl says I... work... here. She told me to sit down in the back for a little because she thinks I bumped my head on the counter...

[She sighs.]

Apparently I've been working here for months. What kind of place is this...? And who are you with?

Yeah, all right, that sounds par for course. It's Discedo... just... something happened, eh? Something big, but only we know it.

[And there's some more crashing as something else gets thrown.] Ah... Linda... my... beautiful girlfriend.

Really? No wonder... I wonder who else is here. Did you get a weird communicator-thing too?

[Gasp! Marco, are you getting killed over there?] Linda? Huh... she sounds... charming.

[voice]

Yes.

[Stabbed with high heels man.] Oh she is. Very. You should meet her sometime.

Have you seen my Ace of Spades? Weird question I know, it's just very important.

Oh, you sound so excited. [And she laughs.] Invite me over for dinner sometime.

Your Ace of ...? Oh! You mean Ace! No, I haven't seen him anywhere. I haven't really seen anyone yet.

Okay. Where do you work? I'll put it on the list and coordinate it with Japan.

Um... Emily's Earth. Some... vegan place. The only one in this town, I think. I... can try and find an address, but I don't know how much use it'll be.

It's fine, I found a map on this thing, eh. Still hard while I can't get an aerial view, but it works.

[Gives simple, SLIGHTLY confusing directions.]

Whoa! That's... so neat!

[She'll be scribbling them down.] Thanks, Marco! Maybe I can drop by after I'm done here.

Oh yeah sure. You can meet Linda, I guess. [Deadpan forever.]

Oh... exciting. [Her voice falters for a moment, but then she sounds perky again.] I'll see you later!

[And around an hour later, Anemone finally makes her way out there. The confusion had her 'sent home early' from work, after the manager person told her she should go see a doctor, but she decided to ignore this advice and just figure out who was there. Well, since she had directions from Marco, she'd start with him.

Unfortunately, the newer Discedo was larger. Bigger, more crowded, cleaner, nicer, and... there was a bakery.

There were two.

And there was a credit card with some guy's name on it that she had no problem using. So by the time she found Marco's place, she had already bought an entire cake and some cookies. Half of her wanted a popsicle--

Oh. There was Marco's place. She knocks on the door.]

[Goes to get it.]

Hey there kiddo. [Ushers inside~ and WHISPERS.] Don't tell Linda too much, eh? I'm trying not to upset her too much and give her reasons to go to the cops.

[Okay, as far as One Piece pirates go, ladies' man Marco is not.]

[Action]

[Anemone grins, nodding. She gets it, and lord knows she doesn't want Marco to end up in jail or anything. So she holds up the bag.]

I won't, trust me. Want some cake?

[Action]

Yeah thanks. You work at a vegan place, so no eggs? [Not that he cares, he can eat eggs, he just dislikes cooking with them. Anyways, leading her to the kitchen to meet the girlfriend.]

[Action]

Yep, no eggs! You can probably stop by and get something neat... As long as you don't need meat like Luffy and Ace do.

[She puts on her best 'I'm an innocent girl' face for when they arrive in the kitchen and just waves to the psycho-girlfriend Marco's been saddled with.]

I'm much less carnivorous than them. I'll have to check it out, eh.

Linda, this is Anemone, Anemone, Linda.

[Said psycho goth girlfriend just stares and then tries to be polite-ish.]
Uh. Right. And how does Marco know you again?

[Action]

[pilot_princess]

Okay, cool. [Interesting facts about Marco! It's probably because he's a bird-guy. But Anemone won't say anything; after all, she doesn't like eggs all that much either - just in cakes.]

Nice to meet you, Linda. He's--[uh uh lie on the spot um]--my cousin. Hey, want some cake? I brought cake over. It's chocolate.

[Luckily this appeases the scary lady, because who doesn't like cake? And chocolate. Aw yeah.]

So glad to see everyone getting along.

[Anemone just smiles, pulling out the cake. Thankfully, she bought individual slices that came with little forks, so those will make clean-up easier for later. She sets them on the table and grins.]

This is the best kind of dinner, isn't it? [She'll gladly make smalltalk over cake. Yay happy meal-invading funtiems!]

Absolutely, eh.

[Luckily for them both, Linda gets another phone call and hurries off to go do work. And yet she calls Marco the workaholic. Go figure.]
