Yo. I'm back. Longest month of my life, including that time I dyed my hair black.

Did anyone remember to water and feed Ace while I was gone? Take him for walks and make sure he got sun and all that?

[There's a pause and the fluttering of wings along with a mutter.] Damn this new book system is strange... [But he speaks back up again trying to sound more chipper.]

So what did I miss? Did the entire landscape change? Any new books about pirates at the library, eh?

[For those who know him well, Marco actually sounds pretty exhausted for a change, and lacking some of his usual ridiculousness.]

[A shrug.] To keep you busy. [Obviously a good reason. He's not explaining the bachelor party thing though, he considers that self-explanatory. If Luffy gets to be his best man, Marco gets to throw the bachelor party. All when Ace marries an as-yet unknown person :|]

And so I'll have something great to tease you about. And then you can have babies and I'll play with them. [He says... as if Marco would ever be allowed near the kids.]

[He smiles.] A regular party would be plenty for that.

[And the smile turns flat.] Oh, I'm never letting you near my kids. If I ever have any. [Which he kinda doubts.]

What? I'm great with kids! I was good with you, right?

[He is going to open his mouth to say something....

but then closes it and shakes his head.] ...sure.

[Frowns.]

Ahhh... what's wrong now?

Eh? Nothing! Really. It's just that you weren't all that great at handling me.

[A teasing smirk.]

[Lightly whacks.] I was great. You were a super baby.

[Normally, he would shove him for that. But today, he's just happy he's back and laughs.]

Sparkles and all?

Of course~! [Sparkles vaguely, but makes sure not to get it in the food. He has no idea what happens then, and he doesn't want to find out.]

See? Wildly entertaining to kids.

[He smirks and rolls his eyes.] Yeah, too bad I'm not a kid.

So I don't entertain you anymore? I'm wounded. [So deadpan and covers his heart with his hand dramatically.]

Well, right now you do. See, this is why you should be an actor.

[Grins.]

Maybe. I do have my own special effects after all.

Hahaha! I kinda like you better as a pirate, though. Maye acting could be a side thing.

If they ever make a stage here, right?

I like being a pirate better too, but I'm sure there's enough overlap.

No. [Stuffs food in his mouth.] Here. A snack.

[He surprised by the sudden food in his mouth, but smiles, and eats it.]

[Laughs at the grin on Ace's face, okay definitely hasn't been eating enough and pokes Ace's cheek.] Yeah, yeah, but I bet you'd still come see every show, eh? [Dices up some veggies and throws them in a pot for soup. You will get veggies in you damn it.]

[He swats the hand away, but nods.] Damn right!

[He cranes his neck to look into the pot. Ew, veggies. But it's still food, so he won't complain ~~for now.~~]

You'd better bring me flowers.

[Adds some chicken to the soup, you carnivore.]

Sometimes I really wonder where the farms for all this food are.

The biggest bouquet I can find.

[CHICKEN. *-* YUM. He shrugs.]

I dunno. Maybe outside the barrier?

My hero~ [Makes a mocking blue heart with his hands.]

Eh, gotta figure, but one of the guys when I first got here said there was nothing out there, just stars and darkness. He might have been lying though since there's the missions. Or the Malnosso tricked them.

[He laughs and makes a heart with his flames, too.]

I'd be most likely to believe the latter, considering it's them.
