Yeah, right, anyway. Got in touch with the Sandwich Factory --
[At this, the transmission is interrupted for a loud THWACK! as something loud was thrown and cracked near the communicator.] NOT YOU LINDA. GOD! PUT THE HEELS DOWN! You're worse than Pops' nurses!

[And a loud woman's voice.] WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?

[And anyone who knows Marco might recognized this silence as Marco's usual deadpan thinking up the right thing to say.] Love you baby? [WELL, apparently that worked because the woman devolves into a bunch of coos and purrs.] Right, I'm just going to take that heel now... before you break things. Haha. Wait. What is that on the plate?

[And that would be the sound of Marco getting slapped and the voice wandering away yelling he can get his own damn food then.]

Is it boring?

A bit, I guess, but I think it was because I already knew everything the teacher was teaching. It was pretty basic physics and mathmatics. Everyone else in the classroom besides Japan seemed to enjoy it, though.

More like he knew all of it as well.
He's much, much older than he looks, I imagine. So it's understandable that it would all be pretty basic to him too.

You think it's only certain age in school? Or seemingly so?

I havn't seen enough of the others to say for certain. I imagine that's the case, though.

Maybe it's a ranking system according to age.

I believe that's how it works, yea.
The younger kids go to elementary school and learn reading and writing and other basics like that, and the older kids go to high school and take more specialized classes.

The whole concept is a bit strange to me. Only the very rich or nobles had formal education in my world. Maybe a few of the exceptionally academic -- though it generally was dependent on what island.

The only education I had was basic lessons from my foster mother. Everything else I taught myself.

It doesn't seem like a bad way to learn to me. Especially since you already know what they're teaching in the classes.

Yes. I lived most of my life in the New World. Staying on only one island would not have been wise, eh.

Not as bad as I would normally worry. They didn't clip my wings and there's someone important to me there. So long as he's alive and happy I'm willing to overlook much.
